The Blue Sky team is delighted to be hosting a one-day Masterclass for entrepreneurs, business owners and directors based in Dorset and Hampshire.

This is a not-to-be-missed event for those beginning to think about the next chapter in their business life. Whether you are hoping to sell your business for the best price, or leave it to family as part of your legacy (or any of the other options!), it’s important to really define what a successful exit looks like to you and create a clear plan for how you achieve that within your timescales.

After a morning with motivational speaker Miles Hilton-Barber, we will hear from eminent professionals in their field; Preparing Business for Sale, Selling Businesses, Tax, Commercial Law and Finance. They will provide expert advice on how to prepare yourself and your business – talking you through how you will need to examine your business operation and profitability from an outsider’s viewpoint, just as you would your home if you were putting your house on the market.

At this Masterclass, Managing Director of Blue Sky, Gary Neild will share his knowledge of helping successful business owners plan effectively.

A vital part of preparing for a successful exit is a thorough review of your personal finances (including pensions, assets and liabilities) to find your magic number – the amount of money you need in order to live the live you want.

This Masterclass is for a maximum of 20 people. Each will be asked to sign a Confidentiality Waiver. The content has been carefully crafted to inspire, inform and open up your mind to all the possibilities ahead, with plenty of time to talk with speakers, experts and other professional in the room.

Each attended will leave with a10-point workbook for planning their exit, when the time is right and you will also have access to the professional advisors after the day who will be happy to talk in further detail about your situation.

Every attendee will also receive a complimentary Financial Review with Blue Sky’s Andrew Dunn if they wish to begin the process of understanding ‘their magic number’.

Justin is the MD of TheNonExec Limited, a boutique firm based locally specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) with owner-managed companies £3M – £50M revenue.

Following Aeronautics (Imperial) and an MBA (Kingston), Justin’s early career was as CEO and EVP within the blue-chip industry. Having led a global technology organisation to achieve £0.25Bn revenue organically and through various acquisitions early in his 30s, he has since helped many business owners across the world prepare and successfully sell their companies.
