We were delighted to once again support the annual Dorset Blind Association Motor Show 2026 as Platinum Sponsors, helping celebrate a truly milestone year for one of Dorset’s most loved community events.
Held on Sunday 17th May at the spectacular Lulworth Castle, this year’s show marked the event’s 10th anniversary and proved to be its biggest and most successful year yet.
Despite uncertain weather forecasts in the days leading up to the event, around 8,000 visitors attended throughout the day, alongside more than 300 vehicles displayed on the estate. From classic cars and supercars to family attractions, exhibitors and live entertainment, the atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish.
Most importantly, the event raised an incredible £42,000 for Dorset Blind Association, helping the charity continue its vital work supporting blind and partially sighted people across Dorset.
Blue Sky has proudly supported the Motor Show for several years and it remains a hugely important date in our calendar. Beyond the cars and the crowds, it is an event rooted in community, connection and making a genuine difference to local people’s lives.
Our Managing Director, Lesley Keets, said:
“We are incredibly proud to continue supporting the Dorset Blind Association Motor Show and to see this year’s event achieve such an amazing result. The atmosphere throughout the day was wonderful and it was clear just how much support exists for the charity and the work they do across Dorset.
Raising over £42,000 is a phenomenal achievement and we feel privileged to play a part in helping make that happen. Congratulations to everyone involved in organising such a special anniversary event.”
The event’s success is a reflection of the enormous effort behind the scenes from organisers, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors and supporters, alongside the continued generosity of the local community and wider car enthusiast network.
We would also like to congratulate the entire team at Dorset Blind Association for creating such a memorable 10th anniversary event, and thank James Weld, Sam Baker, volunteers and the whole team at Lulworth Castle for once again hosting the show in such an iconic Dorset setting.
We are already looking forward to seeing how the event continues to grow in 2027.
