This year’s Dorset Blind Association Motor Show was one to remember.
Held in the stunning grounds of Lulworth Castle on Sunday 18th May 2025, the ninth annual event attracted over 6,000 attendees, the largest crowd yet, and raised a record-breaking £37,000 to support people living with sight loss across Dorset.
Blue Sky Financial Planning was once again proud to be Platinum Sponsors, alongside our valued partners Porsche Centre Bournemouth and fellow supporters Daizun Investments Limited. Together, we helped to deliver a joyful and unforgettable day of classic cars, community spirit, and charitable celebration. We can’t take credit for the amazing weather, however!
From the incredible supercar display and parade to vintage vehicles, food and craft stalls, funfair rides, and live music from local artists, there was something for everyone to enjoy. With more cars on show than ever before and a dazzling display of automotive passion, the Motor Show continues to go from strength to strength.
“The atmosphere at this year’s show was electric,” said Emma Hardy, Business Development and Client Relationship Manager at Blue Sky. “What makes it so special is the mix of fun, community and genuine impact. As a Dorset-based business, we’re passionate about supporting local charities who make a difference where it matters most.”
Russell Skinner, Director and Chartered Financial Planner, added: “This is always a standout date in the calendar. From the supercar parade to the conversations with attendees, the whole day reminded us why community spirit and charitable support go hand in hand.”
As always, the real magic of the day came from the people; the families, the volunteers, the local businesses, and the car enthusiasts who all gave their time, energy and generosity to create something remarkable.
The tenth anniversary show is already in planning for 2026 and we look forward to seeing you all there!
