In September, Blue Sky Financial Planning was shortlisted for the prestigious Dorset Business Awards, in the Outstanding Customer Service Award category. The category was sponsored by Beales Gourmet and Teachers Building Society, with the other finalists being Sontronics and Bluebird Care.
At a glittering awards ceremony at the Bournemouth International Centre on the 1st November, we held our breath as the video clips rolled – showcasing the three Dorset companies that the judges felt go above and beyond to ensure their customers receive an outstanding service.
The award went to the amazing team at Sontronics, and although we didn’t win on the night, we are incredibly proud to be a finalist.
Our Managing Director, Gary Neild said: “I am delighted for my team that we have been named as a finalist for our outstanding customer service. We pride ourselves on our exceptional service for clients and this nomination is testament to the ability of our brilliant team.
The Dorset Business Awards 2018, in association with the Daily Echo and Dorset Echo, had 13 categories that recognised the achievements of businesses, individuals and teams. Businesses of all sizes, which are based in Dorset or have a BH/DT postcode, were eligible to enter regardless of whether they were a member of the Dorset Chamber.
The judging panel – including past winners and awards sponsors – evaluated each entry together with supporting evidence, such as company literature, photographs and third-party endorsements, against the individual award criteria.
Stuart Dixon, Head of Marketing and Communications at DCCI said: “The Dorset Business Awards capture the remarkable diversity and success of the county’s businesses and we would like to thank all those who entered.”
