Blue Sky’s The Limit For Duo

Two new faces have strengthened the team of experts at a growing Dorset financial planning firm.

Poole-based Blue Sky Financial Planning has appointed Trainee Paraplanner Michelle Watson and Pip Campbell as Head of Administration, as it expands its extensive services to clients.

Managing Director Gary Neild said: “Our business continues to develop as more people turn to wealth planners for expert advice in understanding their number! In other words, how much do they need and when to live the life they want.

“We are delighted to welcome Michelle and Pip to the team as Blue Sky strives to be the leading financial planners on the south coast, offering the most comprehensive service available.”

Gary, who founded Blue Sky in 2002, added: “It is so important to actively plan your financial future to ensure you have peace of mind in later life and can enjoy your money whilst you have you health.

“Michelle and Pip have come aboard to assist our qualified financial planners in providing an exceptional service to our clients.

“Our goal is to provide clear information and guidance, empowering clients to engage more actively with their own finances, giving them control and ultimately, choices.

They have both joined a strong core team of investment and pension specialists who are advocates of Comprehensive Financial Planning.

Michelle, who previously worked for a discretionary fund management company, a housing association and in the public sector, will be providing support to Blue Sky financial planners Robert Newcombe and Tammy Smith.

Currently working to achieve a diploma in regulated financial planning and facing six exams, she is learning about cash flow planning, assisting in writing suitability reports, producing valuations for client meetings and drafting reports for Blue Sky’s cash management system.

She said: “I am honoured to have been given a role at Blue Sky. This firm is certainly going places and I intend to do my very best for clients and colleagues on the way.”

Pip, previously with a wealth management firm as a pension team leader and with a consulting company leading administration staff, has nearly 20 years’ experience of managing teams and processes.

She holds financial planning and pensions administration certificates and her primary role is working alongside the financial planning team to ensure an efficient process and service delivery.

She said: “Working for Blue Sky was too good an opportunity to miss. I hope my extensive experience in the field will stand me in good stead.”

Blue Sky Financial Planning, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, provides comprehensive financial planning to individuals who wish to prepare properly for their financial future.
